After working on mobile bars for over ten years for Britain’s oldest brewery Shepherd Neame, founder Laura Taylor saw a gap in the Kent market for something a little different; a fun and exciting mobile bar which showcases the exceptional produce that Kent has to offer. Pondering this idea while visiting her childhood home, Laura’s attention was piqued by the dilapidated old horse box sat in her parent’s yard, which had been used over twenty years ago to take Laura and her two sisters out to horse shows all over the county. Over the next year, the dilapidated old horse box was transformed into a beautiful mobile bar with a whole new life ahead of it.

In 2019 Wild Box began life as a humble Horse Box bar, on a mission to champion Kent produced beers, wines and spirits. Following a highly successful first year of trading, hopes for Wild Box’s continued growth were dashed, when the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the loss of it’s bookings for 2020.Determined to weather the storm and continue on its mission to celebrate local produce, Wild Box home delivery was born. With a lot of hard work (and a little bit of luck), Wild Box spent the latter half of 2020 shipping thousands of cocktail boxes across the nation, and hosting virtual masterclasses for its private and corporate clients.As lockdown restrictions eased and the world returned to its new normal, Wild Box returned to servicing events across the South East, as well as opening a permanent bar in Folkestone and Faversham. While the pubs were once again open, the demand for our cocktail boxes remained, and today you can still treat yourself or a loved one to a Wild Box cocktail at home.
